• Location data: Your device location to show nearby venues (only when the app is in use)
• Usage data: Venues you have favourited and votes you have cast
• User-submitted content: Venue suggestions you submit through the app

3. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve the Dart Finder service
• Show you venues near your current location
• Save your favourited venues and vote history
• Review and approve venue submissions
• Respond to your support requests

4. Data Storage Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which operates servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). Firebase complies with UK GDPR requirements. Your account credentials are protected using Firebase Authentication with industry-standard encryption.

5. Location Data Dart Finder requests access to your device location solely to show your position on the map alongside nearby venues. Location data is used in real-time and is not stored on our servers. You can withdraw location permission at any time through your device settings.

6. Third-Party Services We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: For authentication, database, and cloud storage
• Apple MapKit: For displaying maps within the app

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

7. Data Retention We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data including your votes and favourites will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
